Nathan is all grown up to sixteen months! 

So much has changed since I last did an update on him that I had to go back and re read the blog post to see where he was at thirteen months. 

We are in the active toddler stage! We have teethed to no end and have lived through a few ear infections, a few scrapped knees, and few bruised cheeks. 

sixteen month stats:

height: super tall...I don't remember the number but he was way off the charts

weight: 30 lbs exactly!

eating: anything and everything! He isn't a picky eater and knows how to open the pantry to point at what he wants

clothes: 2T-3T (yes....giant child)

diapers: size 6

milestones factoids:

still uses a bottle when going to sleep for nap and nighttime but only water (most of the time) 

can open up all doors

takes direction well 

sits in a big boy chair with a full upper body bib

drinks from a sippy cup and eats with a fork or spoon

gives the best hugs! still does open mouth kisses

says please and thank you in his own language 

is discovering his body parts

has no ankles (his legs are still chunky)

loves to have dance parties

grabs books off his shelf for me to read

loves his nanny Jasmine

is the kid that runs in the street

wants to do everything his sister does

has his eight front teeth and four of his baby back teeth in 

says ball, I did it, please, thank you, mama, daddy, baba, blanket, keke, belly, bye, doggy, i love you

throws so crazy fits 

still screams but is getting better at saying the words. usually screams when he is over tired, hungry, or overstimulated

loves to slide down the slide on his belly

loves his Kaylee! 

waves hello and goodbye

has the best smile

can go up and down the stairs solo (most of the time)

started coloring with crayons 

loves to brush his teeth multiple times a day

moves chairs all over the house

can climb on the couch alone

had his second haircut

visited the eye doctor for the first time and made it through the whole checkup 

loves to run around naked after bath time

dresses up with Kaylee 

plays kitchen and pretends to eat when they play restaurant 

 is obsessed with dogs 

makes every animal sound the same weather its a sheep, dog, or lion

sleeps half the week from 7:30am-7:00am
