Family days in Sunny Washington

5:01 PM

Wow! What a great time we have had as a family these last two days. We really took advantage of the great weather and tried to get out together for some fun. On Monday we decided to have lunch at the lake. I love Capital lake, as you already know, so we got some Meconi's sandwiches and drinks and headed down to Marathon Park. There is a wide open space perfect for a one year old to wear herself out before nap time.

Here is Kaylee after lunch doing her favorite thing, picking flowers.

She was all smiles playing on the picnic table with me.

Running, Running, Running, she was so ready for a nap after two hours at the park. She is chasing the crows that wanted our lunch.....Who needs a dog when you have a child that loves birds.

She discovered the trees had a slight hill to them and she ran around them for about half and hour.

Tuesday started with running errands. The usual grocery shopping, dropping of books at the library, paying a few bills, and getting Isaiah's hair cut. The sun was shining and we itching to get out. We took Kaylee down to Tumwater Falls. So beautiful. There is a trail about a mile long that loops around the falls and river with little mini waterfalls all around. At first the water scared Kaylee but then she started to warm up to it.

She actually walked around the whole thing...HOLDING MY HAND!!!

This picture we took for my mom. :) She likes to stop and read ALL the signs! (Love ya mom)

Becoming a bit adventurous she climbed up on the rocks. Unfortunately, we were unable to get a good picture of her.

I was trying to get a good daddy daughter picture but she was more interested in looking at the water and walking on her own.

So cute! :) I love this trail.

Isaiah and I also a a little time to ourselves for a date night. We went out to Mexican and were planning on some ice cream after but we were so stuffed from the delicious food. My plate I ordered could have fed four people. Yummy! Mexican for left overs tonight!

Next week we are going in the pool! We bought her swim suit this week and I cant wait to see my little fishy in the water! :)
