The first week of vacation was pretty A-MAZ-ING!!
Everyone has asked me "So how was your vacation?" and all I can think of is "A-MAZ-ING!"
I'm still trying to digest all of the fun we had.
Everyday was A-MAZ-ING!
It was so great I am speechless thinking about it.
So here is a sample of our trip for p365.
Don't be jealous!

Well.... It's back to reality for the Torres family. We had an amazing time on our tropical vacation. I am going through sun withdrawals already and we have only been home a few days. I didn't want to come home. Isaiah even caught me online pricing out our next adventure.
I am catching up on the p365 week post first and then I'll post our entire vacation... in parts of course... or we would have picture overload on our hands.
So here is the week we left for vacation
Enjoy!

Kaylee and I surprised Isaiah at work after church on Sunday. She insisted on wearing my pearls that day. Super cute girlie girl!
{66/365}
{66/365}
This is what Kaylee came out of her room wearing on Monday night. Looks like someone figured out how to get into her suitcase.
{67/365}
The sun was shining!!

Passports....check!

Goodbye Washington....hello Florida!

Our first day in sunny Florida was spent sleeping and shopping. Kaylee was really into the shadows on the sidewalk at the mall.

Our home for the week
Since this is the last post before
Finally all caught up!
It only took two hours of Kaylee sitting on my lap coloring, climbing on my back in the computer chair, reading books at my feet, and taking pictures with the camera all while I worked on organizing my computer.

Now on to the week before vacation:

these are the super cute shoes I am wearing on our wedding day!
A pop of color hidden under a beautiful dress.
April 16th.... 5 year anniversary and our religious wedding ceremony.
{59/365}
Date night! I made Isaiah take this picture in the mall outside the movie theater. It was so needed for a me-and-you night. Olive Garden and an Adam Sandler flick. Great night!
{60/365}
Happy Birthday Grandad!
{61/365}
I just had to document these curls. I did nothing to them. I just pulled her hair back for her to play with Jack and Cami and this perfect pony tail was born. I hope she never looses these curls.
{62/365}
ladies and gentlemen... Parker is up and almost walking :)
My bet is in for walking before his birthday in two months.
{63/365}
Yes... my suitcase is packed a week early. I have since decreased the amount of clothes I am bringing but that's why you start packing early right?? To have everything out and then purge to the right amount.

Last week was eventful. So much that I am posting this a week late! Oh well, as long as I don't get to behind I'm A-Okay :)
{51/365}
Kaylee's new favorite thing to do when we walk in the door is strip down to her diaper and run around as "a naked girl." We were both feeling kinda lousy when we came home from church. This was taken before the sickness really crept in
{52/365}We laid around all day in our sweats.
{53/365}
Breakfast for dinner is usually a Sunday tradition but Kaylee and I weren't eating more than soup and crackers so we saved it for later in the week.
{54/365}
SNOW!! Our first layer happened on Tuesday and continued all week long!

{55/365}
Isaiah stayed home from work because of the weather so we enjoyed the family time.

March is my favorite month!!
My mom, dad, and I all share this as our birthday month.
I love March because it seems like the months start flying by until summer. Winter is officially over in my mind!! Things start blooming, the sun starts coming out more {well in some parts of the country}, and the itch for a vacation happens {like in 6 days}. Mother nature may not agree with me but my mental clock says so.
Ready for some fill in the blank??
I thought you'd never ask

1.The phase or punctuation I overuse is "you know?". I have no idea where I picked it up from but it is my nervous phrase. After I say something to someone I then add "you know?" like I need there approval or something. Every time I say it I secretly kick myself. :)
2. Today I am thankful for my gym having child care. Yes, I still have my gym membership. I go workout by myself about once a week. I put my headphones on and just get lost in the music on the treadmill. Its good me time. We are going there right after I finish this. {yes, blogging is more important to my right now than fitting into my bikini in 6 days...haha}
3. My best friend is my hubby :) ONE LOVE! In the chick category it is really hard to choose. I have some pretty AMAZING friends. I'll just leave it at that :)
4. A quirky thing about me is my TYPE A personality. It gets a bit crazy sometimes. I have to stop and say to myself, this is okay like this. I like order. I like organization. I love list.
5. This weekend I am packing!!! I have all of the suitcases out and the last minute shopping list ready to tackle. I am cleaning the house from top to bottom so I don't have to come home to a messy place.
6. Something that worries me is I will loose someone close to me. I have been so fortunate to NEVER loose anyone. All of my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and friends are thankfully still here. I fear the day when I have to morn someone.
7. On my nightstand is my water from last night, some booby pins, and my eye cover for when I sleep. Boring I know. :)

Last Saturday Isaiah and I took Kaylee bowling for the first time with some of our friends.
We had such a great time. We of course are "new" parents and didn't think to call ahead of time to see if there would be an open lane in the afternoon on a Saturday. Turns out that time is pretty popular for birthdays.
Whooda thought right?? :)
We were able to get the last lane open but unfortunately it was without bummers.
But we made do and had a great time!

{Isaiah said this was his artistic shot}
Isaiah and I took turns walking her and her 6lb ball up to the lane to show her what to do
Then, being a true Torres {slash Dries girl}, she wanted to do it herself
She had a hard time with the whole "wait your turn" thing but the ball coming up the shoot helped pass the time
One round was all she was able to make it through but I have to say bowling was a full success!
ps.... 8 days until vacation!!!!
or 1440 minutes....
or 86,400 seconds....
Just in case you were wondering :)
