HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

I turned 27 on the 27th!

Have you ever had a surprise party?? 

I can finally say I have!!

I have the best husband in the world. He loves me so much and secretly planned a surprise party for m with all of my close friends and family. I actually had NO idea! He did a great job keeping the secret and having plenty of people play along with false stories.

 I love you Za!

So here is what my day fabulous day looked like:

 

We had a beautiful sunny Easter weekend here in the Northwest.

We took the kiddos to the Cider Mill for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. 

Easter Sunday was just as nice. We put on our Sunday best and snapped a few pictures after church.

three month stats:

we didn't have a doctors appointment this month and I totally forgot to measure him so I have no idea how much he has grown in weight and height. 

eating: breast milk about 6 times a day 

clothing size: 6-9 month clothes 

diaper size: size 3

I am still getting up at night with him. We haven't gotten to a full nights sleep and it is starting to really take a toll on me. I am hoping and praying this next month is the home stretch with night time feedings.

is a droll monster soaking through two bibs a day

goes to sleep with a pacifier

is still in our room at night 

loves to be packed around in the ergo baby

went on his first road trip!

It must have been the beautiful spring weather we had this last week that inspired Isaiah and I to be so snap happy. Either way I'm excited to share....

Happy Easter! 

We took some pictures outside on the lawn (post to come soon) and then Kaylee played drive through outside through the window (her head is right below the yellow truck.....do you see her??).  We started the week with some yard work, I had to work (boooo) and then I had a date with my breast pump at 11pm.

Nathan is getting SOOOO big! He is sitting up now! Isaiah did a training and played with some new phones and I packed Nathan around while doing housework and Kaylee dressed up in a crazy outfit. We had a shopping date with P-Ray and Amy and then some good quality sibling time.

I had to snap a quick pic of Isaiah at work with some of the guys.

Then Isaiah left to go to scouts (he is a Boy Scout Leader at our church) where they played a family feud game.

Nathan and I had an exercise date with my new pair of Nike's while Kaylee was in school and then we shopped around Target eating pretzels and drinking slurpee's through a crazy straw.

We headed to Red Robin that night for my bestie Lindsey's birthday dinner!

 We had a play date at the Hands on Children's Museum and Kaylee was in heaven. It was so nice out we decided to have a picnic lunch on the State Capital lawns. Nathan and I hung out in the back of the car while Kaylee finished her nap.

Better late than never right?? 

I'm still trying to find the time to sit down at the computer. It's probably the lowest thing on my "to-do" list so I feel like I'm accomplishing my list by being on the computer right now. Go me!

Here is our first week of April!

We went to the park, the kids entertained eachother, I did some couponing (stocking up on canned stuff) and pour little Cami fell at the playground and got a huge goose egg on her forehead. 

We had a crazy out-of-nowhere hail storm on my way into work. It hailed so much that it piled up to 1in!!! I love that Nathan is big enough to fit into this super cute wrap. And then it was sunny!!

Aren't my kids just the cutest?? We did a local Easter egg hunt at a farm so Kaylee wanted to dress like a cowgirl so we decided to dress Nathan in his overalls. So cute!! We found eggs, we saw animals, and Kaylee explored her first firetruck.

Happy Birthday to me!!

Yep... another year older...another year wiser.
Crazy to think of everything that has happened in this last year. Went on a cruise, had our five year wedding anniversary, found out we were pregnant, moved to a new house, had a baby.... WOW!! Life sure does change in a year!

Here is how we spend my birthday week..

Two weeks late on this post and its all I can do to keep my eyes open to get this one done

on top of this I am also two journal entries behind for Kaylee and Nathan.
I write to them every month. I want to give it to them as a gift when they turn 18. I love remembering the small things and documenting everything for them. Right now I am recording some of Kaylee's favorite phrases. I type them in my phone when she says something funny so I can go back and write them in her journal. I give advice and describe our days and what we are going though together. It seems much easier to write a journal for them than one for myself. I hear myself in my head all day long so the last thing I want to do is record it all. I would rather record my life through them.

I know... a bit ambitious seeing as how I am so far behind.
