sunshine in the rainy state
1:08 PMMondays are by far my most favorite day of the week. I know if sounds a bit backwards but Mondays are Isaiah's one week day off. Sunday is his other day off and usually this day is consumed with house chores, church, and whatever sporting event is on.
This Monday it was actually sunny!!
I know that sounds weird for the middle of July for most people but with 5 straight days of rain and below 70 degree weather, one sunny afternoon is something to be really excited about!!
We decided to get out of the house for a little family adventure.
We walked this amazing trail in Puget Sound just down the road from us that leads all the way to the water. Kaylee calls this the "forest jungle." She was anything but quiet walking through the woods. I am sure no wild animal would ever come near this noisy, jumpy, singing 2yr old.
{outfit chosen by miss Kaylee herself. All I told her was she had to wear "real" shoes and socks, no sandals and this is what she came up with}
We made it down to the water and Kaylee had a blast looking at all of the rocks. Once we gave her the "okay" to throw rocks in the water, she was in heaven.
We hung out for all long as my pregnant bladder would let us and then it was off for another adventure....
FISHING!!
{post to come on this....technology is not working for me right now and I have the cutest video of Kaylee catching her very first fish!}
